<description>GMOs acceptance will increase when more and more information about their benefits and potential dangers are laid bare in public. As of now, anti-biotech groups are busy misleading the public that biotech crops pose dangers to their health and the environment. In my blog, GMO Africa, I've always argued that it's common for new technologies to meet opposition, especially from populations with limited knowledge. This might explain the fact that Europeans will embrace GM crops at a faster rate than, let's say, Africans.
